CORE SLIDER JAM
WSP Cabrinha rider Jamie Barrow travelled to Perth, Australia to take part in the 2010 Core Slider Jam - the most serious collection of Wakestyle Kiteboarding in the world. Pulling all the big names (Andre Phillips, Aaron Hadlow, Sam Light, Susi Mai, Jesse Richman to name a few) for an entire week to hit a collection of sliders and kickers at Woodmans Point "Woodies". Jamie was using his 2010 Cabrinha Switchblade 6 and 8m, and riding the Cabrinha Custom 140.
2010 Canterbury Kite Champs
Kiteboarders from all over New Zealand gathered in Christchurch on the 23rd/24th January to compete in the 2010 Canterbury Freestyle Kite Champs. WSP Cabrinha Riders Geoffrey "Chuck" Waterson and Daniel Romero went down for the event. Good wind for the event made a great weekend, with results in all divisions. Congratulations to Chuck for placing Second in the Mens Open division!

TAKAPUNA BEACH SERIES
The North Shore City Beach Series is a unique fitness event which takes place in Auckland on North Shore City's picturesque Takapuna Beach on 16 Tuesday evenings each summer.
Head down on Tuesday evenings to watch or take part in the action. Racing starts at 6:15pm, with registration from 5pm to 6pm.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to all the NZ kiteboarders who went to compete at the New Caledonia PKRA event November 25th - 29th.
Very special note to Rachel Cann (WSP/Cabrinha/DVNT) who placed 6th in the event, resulting in a 10th Place for 2009 overall!

Aaron Hadlow New Zealand Tour
Current 5x Kiteboarding World Champion, Aaron Haldow toured NZ from 14th - 20th September. After a rare windless September week, Aaron managed to hit the water and show his skills for two sessions - Friday at Raglan, and Sunday for a super-session at Orewa, where over 100 kiters turned up to watch Hadlow kite.

Wind Sport Festival
Taranaki Wave Classic
The Taranaki Wave Classic was held over the October Labour Day Long weekend. Unfortunately the event only saw good conditions on the final day, so results were given, but a good time was still had by all who attended as the sun was shining and the bbq was in full action.
